Yale Gospel Choir 50th Anniversary Celebration
Yale Undergraduate Gospel Choir has a FIFTY year legacy of serving the Yale and Greater New Haven community with the mission to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through song!!! We intend to celebrate our legacy and honor our history as our work has touched the lives of many people worldwide.
We hope to :
Celebrate the 50 year legacy of students, faculty, staff, and community members involved with YGC
Highlight the churches, organizations, cooperations, etc that have supported and collaborated with YGC
Honor our Lord Jesus Christ in song, praise, and worship
Our anniversary theme, “Source of Our Strength” acknowledges our continued focus to honor our Lord through praise and worship. We will celebrate our creativity, successes, collaborations that the choir has achieved throughout its history.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
Friday, April 12, at 7 PM | Meet and Greet Dinner at The House, 211 Park Street.
Saturday, April 13, at 11 AM | Formal Welcome Reception at the House, 211 Park Street.
Saturday, April 13, at 2 PM | Reunion Concert Rehearsal (including alumni!) at Woolsey Hall, 500 College Street.
Saturday, April 13, at 4 PM | Reunion Concert at Woolsey Hall, 500 College Street.
Saturday, April 13, at 7 PM | Reception/ Dinner at Saint Thomas More, 268 Park Street.
Sunday, April 14, at 10 AM | Church services at Black Church At Yale or wherever else you would like, especially if you attended a church in New Haven during your time here.
Sunday, April 14, at 12 PM | Brunch at the House, 211 Park Street.
Your ticket purchase affords you access to all of the weekend's events; including all meals and merchandise.
The suggested donation is $70. However, we do appreciate any amount and prayers for a successful celebration!
